NEW ARRIVALS - Here Come the Fjords!
Welcome three new guys in town - Koriakin, Kingston, and Quest - Wendy Luscombe’s adorable Fjords! All are being trained in dressage. Koriakin and Wendy have been showing quite a bit this year and have qualified for both the East Coast Riders’ Cup and Region 8 Championships. Kingston and Quest are just starting out with their training, but Wendy hopes to get them to their first show sometime this fall. Extremely steady and good-natured horses, the Fjords have settled in well. As you can see below, they are very well-behaved, and really seem to be enjoying themselves at Cricket Hill!

USDF BRONZE MEDAL to Paddy Rossbach
Congratulations to Paddy Rossbach on achieving her Bronze Medal! The United State Dressage Federation awards Bronze, Silver and Gold Medals to recognize competitors’ progress up the levels. The Bronze Medal is achieved with two scores of 60% or better in First, Second and Third Level. Paddy had her First and Second Level Scores for some time, but this was the first year she and her Arabian mare, CHA Sienna, had shown at Third Level, and this was the big month! First, the pair were named Region 16 Third Level Champions in Syracuse, and then they achieved their final Third Level score at the Windy Hollow Hunt Summer Dressage Show in New Jersey to win the Bronze medal. Let’s cheer them on to the Silver!

NEW ARRIVAL - Maddie Comes to Cricket Hill
There’s a new blond in town - Kristin McLallen’s beautiful warmblood mare, Maddie. Just seven years old, Maddie has shown through 3rd Level, and we know how Kristin loves those flying changes! Maddie settled in well and has made friends with Paddy O’ for turnout. Now back in work, Kristin has her eye on the pair making their show debut this fall. Good luck to both and welcome to Cricket Hill!

NEW ARRIVAL - Jose Comes to Cricket Hill
A hearty welcome back to Cricket Hill for Wendy Luscombe! She brings with her a handsome dark Andalusian stallion. Even though he’s officially known as Princep 123, all his friends call him Jose Stallione!
Jose will make his show ring debut this year at Third Level. While Wendy plans to show him as an amateur, Jane will ride him for his first couple of shows to get him used to the environment. We wish both Wendy and Jose a long successful career together!
